Influencing strategies

In this module we will learn about influencing strategies.

I am really curious to learn more about strategies to influence customers and to reflect upon the principles of persuasion linked to my organization.

I expect to learn more and to be able to discuss theories I have learnt with other classmates and colleagues at work.

While watching the first video I realize that trends will affect the whole business structure of companies. Quite large changes need to be made within companies to match shifting trends, and if we could learn to be more susceptible to this, companies would benefit a lot from it.

With high expectations on more knowledge in this topic!

  2. I fully agree. Trends affect the whole business structure of companies. But it always has I assume. Just look at the old example with Facit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facit) going out of business when not keeping up with the trends at that time.

    What's different now, is that thing happen with such an enormous speed due to the digital possibilities. Companies really need to be on their toes to be fast enough in keeping up with the trends and not get left behind. Companies with slow decision making processes will see a challenge here I believe.

  3. Very interesting with trends and change coming at us in more speed nowadays. This will ultimately lead to new structures and attitudes I Believe. in order for any of our organisations to stay valid and relevant we need to keep in touch with our customers needs and the Changes in them. To cocreate with them and co design can be one way in which this is done. Lego the toy manufacturer allow their customers to manufacture designs they want in order to stat in tune with what they want in future models. Interesting to see how we can use this more in other organisations.

  4. I agree – it will be really interesting to learn more about this topic!

    As Pia already mention in her comment – trends and change comes quickly nowadays. This will for sure put new pressure on companies to be able to quickly adapt their strategies and setup according to that.

  5. Change happens all the time. So change should be the normal situation for every company and they need to foster a culture that embraces change.
